Feed them before going out

Feed your dog before heading to the restaurant. You want to make sure they are fed well and that they are full and not dead hungry because you wouldn’t want them to keep barking, looking at a sumptuous steak on the opposite table.

 

Get a blanket

Just before heading out for a walk to the restaurant, don’t forget to bring a pad or a little blanket where you will use later in the restaurant so your furry friend would have something to lie down on and feel cozy. After all, you want them to enjoy their resto experience too, right?

 

Put them on a leash

Put your dog on a leash when going to the restaurant as this is a protocol to restaurants. Putting them on a leash will rid you of so much stress, trust me!

Either your dog is naturally playful or aggressive, you want to keep them on a leash so they don’t cause trouble so you can enjoy your meal without stressing out or worse running around trying to catch your dog.

 

Take the long route

Keeping your dog still at a restaurant can be a huge struggle unless your dog is fully trained so it would be better if you wear them out by taking them for a walk before heading to your fave resto. You want them to spend their energy on the walk so when you arrive at the restaurant they are ready to plop down while you can enjoy your meal.

Although some restaurants may have water bowls for pups, it’s always a smart idea to bring your own. After a long walk, your dog will surely enjoy some water.
