Be active
Staying active does not mean going to the gym and weight lifting alone, although you can do that. But for most people that is just impossible to do daily.
Staying active means doing an activity regularly that will increase your body movement. It should be something that you enjoy as well so being consistent with your activity is easy.
It could be as simple as walking, gardening, stretching, dancing, swimming, etc. Anything you enjoy that allows you to keep your body moving and active.
Set priority
Setting priority is another form of self-care. You have to be able to say ‘no’ to things that are not important to you so you can make way for things that really matter. Knowing which to prioritize will help you keep your sanity and peace.
Have fun
Allow yourself to have fun, enjoy, and laugh. Don’t be too hard to yourself. Always find the opportunity to just be easy and light. A laugh can do so much to your emotion, mind, and body keeping you relaxed with a positive outlook in life.
Choose healthily
Practice yourself to make healthy food choices and to change bad habits. Keeping your body healthy and strong is the best thing you can do for yourself. Eat healthy foods, stay hydrated all the time and start forgetting about old bad habits, and practicing new healthy ones.
Relax
Give yourself the time to rejuvenate by allowing yourself to shut off sometimes. Take time to relax and pamper yourself as often as you can. keeping a healthy mind is as equally important as having a healthy body. So make sure you rest and relax.
