When Is the Best Time To Drink Your Fresh Juice?

Juicing is a more powerful way to consume high concentrations of minerals, nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes from fresh fruits and vegetables into our body.

But the question is, when is the best time to drink your fresh juices?

Is it in the morning, afternoon or evening?
Is it before, during or after a meal?
Is it before you exercise or after?

Although, the benefits of drinking juice apply regardless of what time of the day but these are the best times to drink them for maximum benefit.

First thing in the morning

The best time to drink your fresh juice is in the morning. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The nutrients in juices are easily absorbed when you drink your juice on an empty stomach.

Drinking your juice first half of the day will give you the complex carbohydrates which your body needs for a good energy supply throughout the day.

Pair it with light food

If you love your juice during a meal, that’s totally fine but make sure that you pair it with light meals like salad or any vegetable dish.

Again, juice digest quickly in your body so pairing it with a heavy meal will result in different times of digestion which can cause indigestion or acid reflux.

Before and after exercise

It is very important that you fuel your body before and after exercise. Drinking your juice before you begin your workout is a quick and delicious way to get the energy-boosting fuel that your body requires for a more productive workout and to maintain your stamina and endurance during your whole routine.

Once you have finished a workout and you have spent your levels of electrolytes and sugar stores, these need to be replenished. So, it’s the best time to grab your juice and drink again. Instead of reaching for a sports drink or fatty foods, why not grab your fresh juice instead.
