One of the most important, if not the most, design element that should always stand out on every landing page is the CTA or the Call-to-Action button. It’s very critical that these don’t get missed out as users browse your page all the way down.

However, there are many reasons your CTAs may all go unseen and some of them are the following:

Too many distracting elements

Always be mindful of how you place your design elements. Avoid dodgy font choices, wrong color combinations or distracting images as they all can take your users’attention away from your CTAs.

Wrong placement

Remember to place your CTA close to your core benefits. Putting them too far down the page will decrease the incentive for your users’ to take action.

Lack of a compelling reason

A CTA that compels users to take action will forever stand out over one that’s less encouraging and it all relies on how powerful and believable the surrounding message of your CTA.

Colors play a very vital role in making your CTA’s stand out. Make sure that you use an effective color combination and contrast.

Little or over in size

Just as your CTA button color needs to stand out, the size of your CTA has to be a compelling and fit. Your CTA button should be big enough to be notable compared to other elements on your landing page to make sure it stands out.
