Pinterest is a space where people come for small group collaborations. In particular, 98% of Pinterest Group Boards have five or fewer people, and 77% of Pinterest Group Boards are just between two people.
With this in mind, Pinterest is improving users’ ability to collaborate inside group boards with three new features.
The latest collaboration tools include added reactions for feedback, sort pins, and a central hub for group members’ communication.
REACTIONS
With the new reactions, you can provide quick feedback on Pins to let other members in the group know which ideas you loved the most. Simply tap on a range of reactions and choose the best to describe your feel.
You can choose from a range of reactions below:
- A heart
- Clapping hands
- Thumbs down
- A lightbulb
- A question mark
SORTING
With the new sorting feature, users can now sort their pins according to reactions, comments, users who added the pin and the date when the pin was added to the board. This will help members prioritize popular ideas to keep the project moving.
COMMUNICATION HUB
Pinterest will also be rolling out a newly designed space for communication inside the group boards, making it convenient for members to track updates and latest thoughts all in one place.
Excited for the new update? So are we!
Update your app today to the latest version to access reactions and the new sorting features.
