It is better to set small and actionable goals rather than setting one big goal which can make you feel too overwhelmed.

Furthermore, it is better if you write your goals on a board or paper something you can see and touch. Post it on your wall or on your desk so you can see it all the time. This will keep you reminded of your purpose, your goal, and your to-dos.

3. Be ready
Not everything will go exactly according to plans, so be ready and be flexible enough to adjust. Always carry with you a backup. If you don’t have then be resourceful enough to think of other ways to deal with your circumstances.

Evaluate your plan, redo or change it if you must. Changing the plan does not mean changing the goal.

There will always be a time when we feel uninspired and we lose the fire towards our goals which is totally normal. But if you let yourself fall into this trap then that could be fatal.

5. Be your own cheerleader
No one can lift yourself better than yourself. Likewise, you can be your worst enemy. So it’s essential to be mindful of how you talk to yourself.

Don’t be harsh with yourself whether it be physically or emotionally. Even simple self-talk has a significant impact on how you feel, talk, and act.
