The World’s Wealthiest College Drop-outs

Admit it, everybody wants to get rich. But how do you exactly become filthy rich? Well, for these people in our list, it seems like being a college dropout is not a problem at all to gain massive wealth.

How did these college dropouts end pretty well with their respective lives and careers even without a degree to brag? Read and be inspired!

Mark Zuckerberg

The first in our list is the genius behind Facebook – Mark Zuckerberg. He is currently one of the world’s youngest billionaires and one of the famous Harvard dropouts. Back in 2004, Zuckerberg left Harvard University during his sophomore year to focus on Facebook full time. He and his roommates developed the giant social networking site at their dorms in Harvard. Facebook is still the world’s largest social network with over a billion active users monthly.

Daniel Ek

If you find Spotify convenient and fun, then make sure to thank Daniel Ek. He co-founded the number one music streaming service and gained massive wealth because of this. But apart from being a co-founder, what most people don’t know about Ek is that he is a college dropout. After taking classes at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden for eight weeks, he left school for good.

Today, Spotify has already more than 32 million paying subscribers.

Arash Ferdowsi

His name may sound unfamiliar but Arash Ferdowsi actually co-founded Dropbox – one of the most popular cloud storage app today. But before becoming a multi-millionaire, Ferdowsi was actually studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology until he dropped out in 2007 during his third year to focus on creating Dropbox together with Drew Houston.

The formula to gain wealth is really complex, but for Mark Zuckerberg, Arash Ferdowsi, and Daniel Ek, they made it a possibility minus a college degree. Inspiring, right?
